【初一英语演讲小故事两分钟】Good morning, everyone!
Today, I want to share a small story with you. It's not a big one, but it made a big difference in my life.
A few months ago, I was very nervous about speaking English in front of the class. I always thought I couldn't say the words correctly, and I was afraid of making mistakes. So, I stayed quiet during English class.
One day, our teacher asked us to give a short speech. I didn't want to speak, but she called my name. I felt my heart beat fast. I walked up to the front, and my hands were shaking. I tried to say something, but I couldn't even start.
Then, I remembered a story my mom told me. She said, "Everyone makes mistakes. The important thing is to try your best." So I took a deep breath and started talking.
I spoke slowly, and even though I made some mistakes, I kept going. When I finished, the class clapped. I felt proud of myself.
From that day on, I decided to be brave. I practiced more, and now I feel more confident when speaking English.
This little story taught me that even small steps can lead to big changes. And sometimes, the biggest fear is just in our mind.
Thank you for listening!
