【英语作文快乐的万圣节】Halloween is one of the most exciting festivals in the United States. It usually comes on October 31st every year. Although it is a traditional festival with a long history, it has become very popular among children and even adults in many countries around the world.

This year, I had a very happy Halloween. On the evening of October 31st, my family and I went to a local park where there was a big Halloween party. There were many people dressed in different costumes, such as witches, ghosts, superheroes, and animals. It was really fun to see all the colorful clothes and creative decorations.

I wore a costume of a little witch. I put on a black hat, a long dress, and a broomstick. My sister dressed up as a vampire, and my parents wore funny masks. We walked around the park, smiling and laughing, and even played some games like "trick or treat." When we knocked on people's doors, they gave us candies and small gifts. It was so exciting!

In the evening, there were also some activities for children, such as face painting, pumpkin carving, and storytelling. I painted my face with some spooky designs, and I even tried to carve a pumpkin with my father. Although my pumpkin wasn't very beautiful, I felt proud of myself.

After the party, we went home and watched a Halloween movie together. It was a scary but fun film that made us all jump and laugh at the same time. I think this was one of the happiest Halloweens I have ever had.

Halloween is not only about costumes and candy, but also about having fun with friends and family. It is a special day that brings people together and creates wonderful memories. I hope I can have another happy Halloween next year!
