In our school, there is a special activity called "English Writing Competition". It is held every year and many students take part in it. I also joined this competition last term and wrote an article about my favorite teacher.

My favorite teacher is Mrs. Li. She teaches us English. She is very kind and always smiles when she talks to us. She likes to use games to help us learn new words. For example, she makes us play word games and sing songs. This makes learning fun and easy.

Mrs. Li also encourages us to write more. She says that writing is a good way to improve our English. Every week, we have a writing class where we write short stories or describe something we like. I enjoy this class very much because I can express my thoughts in English.

I think writing is important not only for school but also for life. When we write, we can share our feelings and ideas with others. I hope I can keep writing and get better at English.

This competition made me feel proud of myself. I didn’t win the first prize, but I learned a lot from it. I will continue to practice and try my best next time.
