【My（pen及pal英语作文）】I have a pen pal named Lily, and she is one of the most interesting people I have ever met. We started writing to each other two years ago through an online exchange program. Even though we live in different countries, we have become very close friends.

Lily lives in Canada, and she is a high school student like me. She loves reading books, especially science fiction. She also enjoys playing the piano and going hiking in the mountains. In her letters, she often talks about her daily life, her school, and the beautiful nature around her home. Her stories make me feel like I can almost see the snow-covered forests and the clear lakes in her country.

I also tell her about my life in China. I describe the food I eat, the festivals we celebrate, and the things I like to do in my free time. Sometimes I even send her photos of my family or the places I visit. She always replies with lots of questions and comments, which makes our conversations very lively.

Through our letters, I have learned a lot about Canadian culture and lifestyle. I have also improved my English skills a lot, because I try to write as clearly and correctly as I can. Writing to Lily has made me more confident in speaking and writing in English.

I hope that one day we can meet in person. I believe that our friendship will continue to grow, no matter how far apart we are. My pen pal is not just a friend from another country — she is a special part of my life.
