【Mysummerholiday初中英语作文】Summer holiday is the most exciting time of the year for me. This summer, I had a very wonderful and unforgettable vacation. I did many interesting things and learned a lot.

First, I went to the countryside with my family. It was very peaceful there. We stayed in my uncle's house. Every morning, I woke up early and helped my uncle feed the chickens and collect eggs. It was a new experience for me because I had never done such work before. I also learned how to plant vegetables. My uncle taught me how to water them and take care of them. It was hard work, but I felt happy because I could see the plants grow.

In the afternoon, I often played with my cousin. We rode bicycles, swam in the river, and sometimes even climbed trees. We had a lot of fun together. At night, we sat under the big tree and told stories. It was very quiet and beautiful.

I also spent some time studying. Although it was summer, I didn't want to forget what I had learned. I read some English books and practiced writing. I wanted to improve my English so that I could speak more fluently next term.

Another thing I did was helping my grandmother clean the house. She was busy with her work, so I offered to help. I swept the floor, washed the dishes, and even cooked a simple meal. It made me feel proud because I could do something useful for my family.

This summer holiday was full of happiness, learning, and memories. I enjoyed every moment and can't wait for the next one. I hope I can have another great summer holiday soon.
